{beading beauties}

As promised, here are pics from our first ever meeting of Beading Beauties. It was such a fun night, and I can't wait for the next meeting (which is soon)! It's going to be great! A few Beauties couldn't make it last time, but they'll be there next time.




We all had a great time! And beading is so much fun. Each time I put my new bracelet on, I just smile. Horray for Beading Beauties!

Whaddya think? I really like how it turned out. I didn't design the mini-kit for these specific pictures, but after I got done it really looks like I did! It's funny how things work out like that.

{rocky mountain high!}

As I was scrapping all SIX pages from our weekend away to Snowbird Mountain Resort back in July, I realized how much I love living so close to the mountains. I love being able to see them every day. We had such a wonderful time up at Snowbird. It is such a peaceful beautiful place! I hope I was able to capture all that in my pages!

And that is our trip to Snowbird! If you live in Utah, I would HIGHLY recommend a weekend away there. It's a short drive but you really feel a million miles away. I just couldn't get over how beautiful it was!

Today I'm having a leisurely afternoon of scrapping! :) Josh is off golfing with his brother and brother-in-law. So, I have the house to myself to scrap away! It's quite nice.

Tonight's been pretty low-key. I made tacos for dinner, visited with my neighbor for a while, then just worked on my new kit for a while. I think I have the papers pretty much finished up. Now its on to the embellishments! (This is so much fun!!). I have some finished LOs I did this past weekend that I'll post later! Oh yeah, I haven't forgotten about the Beading Beauties pics. I will post those too. But for tonight, I think this post has gone on long enough!

{my very first kit!}

Well, this is it. I'm releasing my VERY FIRST kit. It's a freebie for any and all who want it! It's been so much fun learning and working and putting it all together. I have to say a BIG thank you to my designer friends (you know who you are) who have helped me, critiqued me, and shown me support. I really couldn't have finished with you ladies. Thank you.

{just beachy}

Just wanted to post a quick LO!! Just finished it up on my lunch-break. Isn't that awesome? I finished it on my lunch-break!! Digital scrapbooking is the BEST. I think the whole no mess, do it when and where you want thing is my favorite part!

This LO is from our recent trip to California. I have a zillion more photos to scrap from the trip, but at least I've started!! I'd love to hear what you think!

We had a great first meeting of the "Beading Beauties" club that my sister-in-law, Tami, and I started. We get together with girlfriends and family to gab, eat, and of course BEAD! I promise to post the photos from our first get-together soon! :)

I think I have too many hobbies. My mind just races when I think of all the fun things I want to do and create! When I started digital scrapbooking, my book writing hobby totally took the back seat. It's hard to do it all. Actually, scratch that. it's IMPOSSIBLE to do it all. But as long as it makes you happy and you enjoy it, then it's all good!

This page is one of my all time favorites. It's pretty simple but this photo is so special! I just love it!! I don't usually scrap just one photo on a page, but this picture was so awesome, I just HAD to give it its own special page.

{happiest journal pages on earth!}

I've been pretty good lately about keeping caught up on my journal. Here are the last few pages, including two whole pages about our ONE day in Disneyland. These pages are cover our whole trip to California to visit Christian and Marci and Eden.

{crazy for paisley!}

We're back from California! We had a GREAT trip!! Disneyland was awesome (of course!) and we also had a fun trip to the beach and lots of good times just talking and hanging out. I have a LOT of fun pictures to scrap!

Last night I scrapped a couple of Creative Team LOs for scraphead.com. I used papers by Maura Zimmer called "Crazy Paisley". These papers are so cute! And they worked perfectly for my Girl's Camp photos!!

I still have a lot of pictures from camp left to scrap, but I'm having fun with the "bandanna" theme!!

This weekend we are watching Josh's sister's boys for them while they have a little anniversary get-away. So, I'm not sure how much scrapping I'll get in. But I have so many pictures to scrap, I've just got to find time and get some done!! So many pictures to scrap, so little time. Oh brother!! How corny was that??
