Wide Open Spaces

Hello and Happy Friday to one and all! Whoa. I've been a bad blogger this week. Whoops!

Today I'm releasing a fun new template pack called . . .

"Wide Open Spaces"

I took a couple of my own LOs, and made a couple of brand new ones too, to put together this pack!! I love negative space in a LO. It makes a statement and I like that.

Look at the statements my amazing team made!!

~ Kelsy ~ I love these unconventional colors together! Perfectly drawn from her photos! This is soooo cute!

~ Melissa ~ She scrapped TWO! Another totally cool color scheme drawn straight from the photos! LOVE THAT! She flipped the template and totally made it her own. I LOVE it.

And on this one I LOVE the bold red and shades of blue. Beautiful title work as well!!

~ Paige ~ Wonderful, awesome wacky Paige! I LOVE the pictures, the journal strips, the colors. This just ROCKS my world!

~ Erica ~ She ROCKED my latest kit "Fairchild" on this LO! I LOVE the way she used the template. And that hanging A. FABULOUS.

~ Kate ~ I LOVE how she used up ALL her negative space telling the story! So cute! Love those animals by Happy Scrap Girl too!

~ Emily ~ Love the colors she used and the fonts and glittery alpha she created from clipping a glitter paper to her font! SO AWESOME!

Do I have the best girls or what!?!  If you pick up these templates, have fun!!  It's one of my FAVORITE sets I've made!  And be sure to show me what you create!  (I'll be keeping my eye on the SM gallery for them as well!!)

Ok - on to the Show Offs . . .

Awesome awesome Show Offs this week! They are all getting my new template pack as their gift!! If you want to be a Show Off next Friday, email me (with "Show Off" as your subject line) a LO you create over the coming week using ANY Britt-ish Designs product and I'll put it in my slideshow and send you a gift! It's as easy as that! Just make sure to either send a link to your LO or attach the actual LO sized around 600x600.

That's pretty much it for today! Hope you all have something fun planned for the long weekend. Josh is working and then golfing, so no exciting plans here. :) Just more working and scrapping I suppose!

Have a great day!

I'm two weeks behind again! Oops. So here are TWO blessing LOs for today.

The Olympics are over. Boo hoo. We've had such a great time watching them! All our shows better hurry up and start so we have something to watch! haha

Took another little quiz. "Who Were You in High School?" I don't know if the results are entirely accurate, but it was sorta fun. I think I was pretty normal and average in high school. But whatever.

You Were the Arty Kid

Whether you were a drama freak or an emo poet, you definitely were expressive and unique.

You're probably a little less weird these days - but even more talented!

So there you have it. :) haha

This Saturday we went to my grandma's 81st birthday party! The plan was to have a big party for her 80th, but she wasn't doing so well last year (health-wise) so it got canceled. But this year she is doing much better, and EVERYONE in the family gathered for a big PART-AY!!

Look at this good lookin' clan!

It was a really fun time! I love my extended family. Being close to them is a true blessing.

Well, that's enough from me tonight! Hope you all had a fun weekend. Ours was a good mix of relaxing and fun. See ya later!

{fairchild} and a freebie too!

I realized that its been over a year now since I released my very first kit! Wow. I've come a long way, but I'm proud to say that I still like that first kit. But I LOVE the kit I'm releasing today!! Please meet . . .

"Fairchild"

Here are some detail shots for you (click to enlarge).

"Fairchild" is so 'August and September' to me. It's a little back to school, the very trail end of sunshine and summer, and a lot of fun and quirkiness. Just look what the amazing Britt Girls did with it!

~ Amber ~ (I tell her so all the time, but itsn't Amber just the master at layering?!)

~ Ashley ~ (she scrapped TWO and they both rock!)

~ Erica ~ (Isn't it holy cow awesome??)

~ Emily ~ (she said this kit just screams "Wonderland" to her!! I think its the Cheshire-ish stripes)

~ Jess ~ (LOVE this whole design! So unique! I love this kit for storytime!!)

~ Kate ~ (Is this not totally adorable?!)

~ Kelsy ~ (Can you believe how perfectly this matches her daughter's outfit?)

~ Melissa ~ (she scrapped TWO and shows us EXACTLY how this kit can be used to scrap Disney!)

(click each page to enlarge)

~ Molly ~ (LOVE this back to school page!)

~ Paige ~ (this is the CUTEST dang idea! I'm totally copying it!)

And finally one from ME! This is from our 4th anniversary of our 1st Date that I told you guys about last week!

My Britt Girls also helped me create this REALLY cute "Fairchild Brag Book" that is also in the store today!

And for this week only, when you buy the "Fairchild" kit, you get the Brag Book for free, automatically included in your download! I repeat - it will AUTOMATICALLY be in your Fairchild download. You do NOT need to put the brag book in your shopping cart at all!

How can you not be tempted with a deal like that!? haha

Also new in the store today:

"Paper Shapers: Retro Borders"

This was the Speed Scrap participation prize from this week. If you missed the Speed Scrap, you can still snag these fun Paper Shapers in the store!

And last but not least:

"You Can Quote Me: Friends"

(Each of these 6 word arts comes in both basic black and colored/stickered/or glitter versions.)

Wait! Before you rush off to shop, let's enjoy this week's Show Offs!!

A whopping 43 Show Offs this week! Amazing! If you notice you didn't receive your gift email this morning or don't see your LO in the slideshow, just email and and I'll get it straightened out.

If you want to be a Show Off too, just email me a LO using any Britt-ish Designs product with "Show Off" as the subject line to designerbrittney at gmail dot com before midnight next Thursday! Each week I show you off and give you a gift! This week all the Show Offs are getting my new "You Can Quote Me: Friends" word art pack! Hope you girls enjoy it!

OH and we can't forget the freebie add-on to "Fairchild"!!

You can download the freebie HERE. Have fun with it!

Hope you all have a GREAT DAY!

{dreamy new kit from EZ & a little peek into tomorrow}

My pal Erica Zane just released the CUTEST new kit! It's called "EZ Dreams" and its totally DREAMY!!

Here is what I scrapped with it.

{full credits}

This is one of those REALLY special treasured photos that I find myself having a really hard time scrapping. But as soon as I saw Erica's kit I knew what to do! And I love how it turned out! Awesome new kit Erica!! I love it.

The Speed Scrap last night at SM was not without its bumps (aka the site crashing on us numerous times) but we muddled through and still had a great time. I LOVE how my LO turned out!

{full credits}

I just love our Speed Scraps! I already can't wait for the next one.

One last thing thing! The peek. Wanna see what I've got cooked up for tomorrow? I'll give you just a little peek!

I can't wait to show it to you and also show you what the Britt Girls have created with it! So - we'll see you tomorrow for the big release! :)
