This week my blessing LO is my little brother, Scotty. He is serving a mission for our church right now in Antofagasta, Chile right now! I am so proud of him, but of course I miss him too!
Isn't he so cute? I have good looking brothers. His mission is going really well for anyone who is interested. He's so positive and energetic about all his work. He's a great missionary!

We watched the season premiere of the Amazing Race tonight! I'm SO EXCITED that its back on!!! Josh and I LOVE the Amazing Race. We like to pretend we are on it and have gone all the places that they go. I know - we're big nerds. I keep saying I need to get in shape so we can apply to be on it! We'd totally win a million dollars! HAHA
One last little thing. I took a little type test, to see how fast I type. I have no idea if this is an accurate test or what my results even mean really, but it was fun!

Today we are beginning the 1st Birthday Celebration for my digi-scrap home, ScrapMatters.com! It's hard to believe that its been an entire year already since we first opened up our little shop. But look how we've grown!
Well - you're here on your 3rd stop on the Birthday Blog Train. If you're following the train, you just came from Andrea's blog and now you've arrived here in Utah!
At each stop on our Birthday Blog train we'll be telling you about a birthday tradition that we enjoy! One thing my family does for birthdays is to sing 'Happy Birthday' in what has become known as "Rodee-style" (Rodee is my maiden name). What is "Rodee-style" you ask? Well - no one in the Rodee family is particularly talented in the singing department, so instead of struggling through an akward attempt at singing nicely, we just started singing "Happy Birthday" in the most horrible off key bizarre way possible. It's pretty awful sounding but ALWAYS cracks up the birthday boy or girl. We've been doing it for YEARS. I can't even remember when it started, but its a lot of fun! It just gets more awful sounding, louder, and crazier as the years go by. We used to not sing Rodee-style in front of anyone that wasn't family, but in the last year a few 'out-siders' have witnessed "Rodee-style" and we even sang it in a RESTAURANT this summer for Josh's birthday! THAT WAS SO EMBARRASSING AND TOTALLY NOT MY IDEA!!!!
Ok - enough about my goofy family and our random traditions!! On to what you came here for - your FREEBIE!

I've been pulling out the older photos these days, from when Josh and I were still dating! It's so fun to see them. :) And I know someday our kids will enjoy looking at them too.
Life's been busy lately! Monday I did a quick photo shoot with my friend Leslie and her family. They are in town from Denver. It was fun to take their pictures. You can see a few on my photo blog if you want.
Straight after that Josh and I went out to dinner and then back home to watch the season premiere of Heroes! For those of you who don't know, Josh's aunt, Cristine Rose, plays Angela Petrelli on Heroes so we were ESPECIALLY excited about the premier. Her role is really blowing up and we couldn't be more proud or excited!
Then yesterday we (a few of my girlfriends from high school) met Leslie for lunch. We haven't hung out for a long time so we ended up gabbing and having a THREE HOUR lunch! haha We could chat all day if we had the time! Then it was home to finish cranking out my GRAB BAG for this Friday!! Yes, I'm releasing a grab bag on Friday! WOO HOO!! It's to celebrate ScrapMatters' 1st Birthday!! We're having a little party.
I can't believe its already been a year since we opened. We've grown so much! It's totally exciting!! :)
Tonight I'm meeting my family for dinner and then we're going to the temple. We try and go all together once a month, but it doesn't always happen. But I'm glad we are going tonight. It will be fun!

For those of you who don't know - I have 4 younger brothers. No sisters. I decided to scrap each of them in my blessing book in no particular order. First up - Chad! Chad is one of the twins, the younger of the two (who are just younger than me ).
