August Flasback

Before I get to the Flashback, I just have to announce something that happened almost a week ago! I have been on vacation without internet access, so I'm making the announcment really late. Sorry!! But it's still great news!

I was a guest on The Digi Show podcast last week. They were recording a Disney vacation themed episode and asked me to be on their panel!! Of coure I was flattered beyond belief and we had a blast recording the show. The Digi Show girls are just so fun and it felt like sitting around a table chatting with a bunch of girlfriends.

I hope you guys enjoy the episode & enjoy hearing ME blab on and on about Disney. I warned Steph I could talk about Disney and digi-scrap for days! Come leave comment on my Facebook page and tell me what you guys thought!

Ok . . . let's get to the August Flashback!!!

In August we are flashing back to a collaboration I did with Mira Designs way back in the day. But I have to say this kit is one of those older ones that TOTALLY still holds up and looks really great today! . . . ,"Totally Buggin'!

From August 1st through the 31st, "Totally Buggin'" is 25% off!

And you can still download the original add-on freebie if you don't have it already:

Here are some of the new layouts the Britt Girls have scrapped using Totally Buggin':

Hopefully these new layouts have inspired you to use "Totally Buggin'" yourself, because its time for the August Flashback Challenge!

Create a layout using "Totally Buggin'" before August 31st, and post it in the Britt-ish Designs Challenge Gallery. Then come back to this post and paste a link to your layout in the comments. At the end of the month I'll do a random drawing for 1 winner of a $15 Gift Certificate to my shop. No matter when you purchased "Totally Buggin'" - today, last week or years ago - just use it to create a layout and enter it to win!!

If you've never entered one of our Flashback Challenges, please read the "important note" at the end of June's challenge regarding how to post and enter the challenge correctly.

One more note. I know some people have had trouble in the past with the gallery. But all problems were solved by simply trying another browser. My gallery and Internet Explorer don't get along. So, if you're having trouble seeing where to Register, Log In, Upload, or Comment - just try using a different browser (like Firefox, for example) and you shouldn't have any trouble.

And last but not least - it's time to find out who won last month's Made In America Flashback Challenge. The lucky randomly chosen winner was . . .

Melidy's "Sir Yes Sir" layout

A BIG CONGRATS to Melidy! I'll email you your $15 Gift Certificate today! Melidy's layout was so clever and eye-catching. Her choices with the papers and title work were on point! I love that she mixed in a little green to the patriotic kit, which worked for her Green Army Men layout just perfectly.

So guys, there were only 8 layouts entered last month, so make sure to enter in August! Your chances of being drawn are pretty good.

Before you leave, I thought I'd give you a couple more little bonus goodies to use on your Flashback pages. (click on the images and then right click and save to have these cute ants for your own .pngs)
