Miss American Baby

I know, I know. The 4th of July was over 2 weeks ago!!! But even though its late, I still wanted to share these pictures I took of my little American Baby. (click any image to enlarge)

Isn't her outfit cute? My new favorite thing about the 4th of July is dressing Scarlett up. I've already found myself keeping an eye out for next year's outfit! haha!!

Do you like her bow? I made it!!! I just did a search on YouTube and learned how to do it. Now I'm hooked and I want to make her lots more bows! I made her bracelet too, but you can't really see it very well in any of those photos. Here's a better view of it. It's nothing fancy, but it looked cute on her.

Well - even though its late, hope everyone had a VERY happy Fourth! We sure did. How could you not with a baby that gorgeous?!

Peace & Love.

  2. She is SO cute!! Great job on the bow! I learned how to make those corker ribbon bows when M was 4 and I made a TON of them. She still wears them from time to time. :)
I love dressing my kids up for holidays too, it's so fun! :)

  6. Hi Britt. I anonymously view your designs and love them all. This one definitely shows the beauty of your baby! I can only request, from a former member of the Armed Services and huge proponent of proper flag etiquette, please don't lay the American flag on the ground. It may seem nit-picky, but from one who served under it, the flag is the most important symbol of our nation's history and pride. I just hate to see it disrespected.

  7. Hi Fletch - We didn't lay the flag on the ground. My dad held it up behind her and she laid back onto it a little with the help of some propped up pillows. My brother is in the Air Force ROTC and my grandpa was an Air Force Colonel. We definitely don't want the flag disrespected.

  9. I miss the bows I collected and made for my little girl! She's 15 now, but I've saved some of my favorites. I've said it before, but I just have to say again-- what a gorgeous baby!
